Building and Home renovation

How we work
We own and operate all our own plant (digger, lorry and telehandler, etc) all groundwork is done by our qualified workforce, we don’t subcontract which helps keep our costs competitive.
We work alongside building control (council) to comply with all current regulations, are a licensed waste carrier. Any waste or excavated material are either recycled where possible or taken to licensed waste handling site by our own 7.5 tonne lorry. Eliminating any need for skips, saving space, time and money.
We are Fensa registered and licensed to install and certify windows and doors.
We can carry out all types of internal wall surface finish. e.g. Dry lining, hard wall plastering, lime plastering, and metal track walling, etc.
Joinery
We have a fully equipped joinery workshop with full-time qualified carpenters. Together they have a wealth of over 20 years experience and can produce any item of joinery you require. We are able to reproduce any style, machine any odd shaped skirting/picture rails or create other items you require in any type of wood.
We frequently make and manufacture window and doors as well as frames, and are able to design and create tailored solutions for your home, from kitchen and bathroom, to conservatory and beyond.

Site Preparation
Preparing a site for construction is a complex process that requires specialised knowledge and equipment. At W H Cole & Son, we have the expertise needed to handle all aspects of site preparation, from clearing the land to grading and excavation. We are committed to ensuring that the site is ready for construction and that the project runs smoothly.
Plumbing and Heating
We design and install bathrooms from start to finish. This includes wet room, en-suites, bathrooms and disabled bathrooms. We can supply and install water softners, reverse osmosis filters, rainwater harvesting and unvented hot water systems.
We cover all types of above and below ground drainage, septic tanks and rainwater soakaways. We also supply and install all types of wall and floor tiling (natural stone, ceramic and porcelain).
We are registered and licensed in all aspects of plumbing and heating – from design, installation to servicing. This includes gas heating, boilers, LPG, Solar and under floor heating.
We service and repair all types of heating. We also carry out power-flushing to improve system efficiency and comply with boiler manufacturer warranties.
